ISMG’s Executive Roundtables focus on specific challenges being faced by information security executives in today’s cybersecurity landscape. Moderated by one of ISMG’s Executive Editors and a guest industry expert, Roundtables give cybersecurity professionals the opportunity to discuss threats and controls with a handful of market leaders in an informal setting, from which you will emerge with new ideas and solutions you can immediately put to work to improve your own organization’s defensive posture.
Topic
Advanced Threats: How to Respond to Bigger, Stronger, Faster
IoT attacks. Nation-state innovation. The commercialization of crimeware. These are among the advanced threats that continue to target individuals and enterprises – but with an unprecedented evolution of technology and procedure.
What types of advanced threats are you detecting? Who are the most persistent threat-actors? How prepared are your defenses for bigger, stronger and faster attacks than they have ever before faced?
If you’re looking for new answers to these questions, then join Tom Field at the 2019 RSA Conference for an exclusive roundtable discussion where he’ll draw from the experiences of the attendees, offering thoughts on how they have been able to improve detection and defense against advanced threats and threat-actors.
Discussion topics will include:
- What types – and size – of advanced threats are most commonly detected?
- Who are the most persistent threat-actors?
- How must enterprise defenses evolve to detect and prevent these attacks?
